I am extremely picky. I have owned the same pair of Adidas for 6 years. They are still great but they are showing signs of wear(about time). Adidas no longer makes what I look for. I stumbled upon these and they are great. Here is how I pick shorts so you know how these are.I look for mesh shorts that will not be ruined if a sharp edge accidentally knicks it. The shiny shorts look nasty as soon as you ruin one thread. Although these shorts have a 2 inch strip of this material, it is negligible. The next thing I look for are shorts with an inner lining. I do not want people to be able to tell me the color of my boxers no matter what color they are. These have a fine polyester lining made out of the material some companies use for their exterior, the material I mentioned above that gets knicked easily. This is great for what it does.Another requirement I have is length, they must cover at least half my knee cap. These completely cover my knee cap. To be honest, they are maybe an inch or two too long. You basically have to wear them on your waist, you cannot wear them on your hip or else you will cover half your calf.I also require large pockets. They have to be able to fit 2 or more tennis balls. These are fine. My first impression was that they are small, but when I put my phone in them I noticed my pockets do not swing as much as my adidas that had larger pockets. So in this case, moderate size pockets that are big enough so you dont worry your phone/wallet will fall out but small enough so that they dont sway uncontrollably as you walk. And finally, I look for shorts that are thick and/or heavy enough to cover the bulge. I do not need people to see how my penis alters the way my shorts fall, I believe shorts should fall straight down unimpeded. In this respect these shorts preform well. However, I will note that these shorts accomplish this without being heavy. Oddly, they are lighter than my Adidas. *I have not tested this in the wind. The adidas would catch wind sometimes and present the bulge slightly. These may preform as well or maybe worse.*I wish I could remove the champion logo without ruining these shorts. I love hanes, and hanes owns champion, but champion has a stigma of being a cheap brand. I was picking between these and the Adidas Alive LT 2.0, and one strong factor was brand. The adidas probably did not warrant costing $10 more. Nevertheless, the champion logo is small and on the side. Also, Navy is a little too black, I wish it was very slightly lighter so you could tell it is blue and not black. Still a great color.I use these for lap swimming primarily. Got no complaints. Champion shorts run large so buyer beware if you do use them for swimming. These are more like XS than S size. Also the photo shows lime green, these are more aqua color. Disappointed.Quick delivery, like the product.todo bien, es bueno y me gusto
