I bought the product because this model was recommended for low arch. I still did use my store-bought arch supports with them though. Extra padding in the Achilles’ heel area. Nice wide toe bed. Comfortable shoe. The only downside for some would be it really hugs the ankle, so you cannot just mindlessly slip them on or off. You have to use your hands in order to slide your foot in. I suppose that would be great for running.great cushion on foot bed. the heel area can cut into back of heel unless your sock prevents it. I walk all day at work and they are a nice shoe but I wish the back was shorter.I loved the color of this shoe. The fit wasn’t good for me. The sweater like top of the shoe at the heel rubbed a blister after one wearing even with socks. Sent them back.The shoe is comfortable and offers a lot of arch and ankle support. However, the elastic support around the ankle is tight and squeezes my cankle when I wear all day. I need a shoe horn to out on since it does not have laces to make the opening bigger and to prevent bending the back of the shoe. The biggest complaint is the tab on the back of the shoe rubs my Achilles area and rubs the skin off if I don’t wear a bandaid under my socks.Great support, stability, comfort.I buy Kayanos all the time and was not even aware the Kayanos I bought would have a fitted ankle. Very uncomfortable with no show socks... ended up with a blister. Have to wear socks with these that go above the shoe and shoe tongue.This shoe is close to impossible to wear with socks. I have a narrow foot and really struggled to get the shoe on due to the small, tongue-less opening. Once on it fits lovely and is very comfortable.I love ASICS!!! They work the best for my feet. These were no exception. I will buy more from the ASICS brand.
