Luckily these are the same feel and quality as the teen and adult sized Champion shorts that we're used too. The fit and length is perfect, standard 'basketball' shorts. Although these are 'Big Boys' they work just as well as a neutral fit on my daughter. Standing at about 4.5ft tall, the size small hits her right at the knee. Very happy to find these since I really don't like or understand why 'girls' shorts have to hit so high on the leg. It's not like their legs work differently or they don't have the strength to lift an extra 6 ounces of material. The navy color is nice and deep.
