The powder-coated tubular steel frame is sturdy and durable, while the waterfall seat works to reduce how much stress is put on the legs. I like the Chair!Comfortable chair. Use caution during assembly - sharp burrs present at welds - cut my finger on them. One of the bars underneath the butt rest was bent inward!!! It took me 2 hours to unbend it and get a smooth circle to connect the bars! It was truly a mess!!! To much work to put it together. Yet it was suppose to be so simple and easy. But I gave it 2 stars because it is a nice simple chair and pretty comfy but because of the bent bar it’s not balanced. Oh well.Overall, this is an basic chair that is fine for short time use. I would not recommend it for extended daily use or value it anywhere near the listed MSRP on Amazon. I would not pay more than $15-$20 for it new - I got it used via Warehouse for $7.Comfort:- Seat cushion is surprisingly thick and comfortable- Seat back is too short and mesh provides minimal support. Lean back and bar will be in back- Height and width are normal. For obese or very large people, the arms may be somewhat narrowAssembly:- Was straight forward - only 8 screws and a few parts- Others complained about holes not lining up, but I did not experience that issue- The frame feels very sturdyThat statement alone will probably get me "no votes" for helpfulness, but it is true! (Pictures posted!!!) I see they've moved customer images so they are no longer with the picture they use to "sell" the product. To see my image of the joint, move to where the first written review is located and look to the right. My family advised me not to bother putting this together when they saw the quality of the parts, but I said; oh, let's give it a chance! I should have listened to them. Once you've assembled something you really don't want to take it apart and attempt proper boxing to send it back!It didn't go together well, holes not lining up properly for screws, etc, but assembly was "straightforward and simple." However, in addition to the crappy welding job, that I will be posting pictures of--the chair just looks and feels cheap overall. ADDITIONALLY, it is not comfortable! The top of the mesh frame curves in a bit and digs into your back. I feel confident these chairs do NOT sell in ANY brick and mortar store, unless they are priced below twenty bucks! Not worth the discounted price of $43.00 I paid, and MOST DEFINITELY not worth Amazon's regular price of $56.00! I almost wish I had paid the full price of $56.00, because then I'd probably have bit the bullet and sent this cheap piece of junk back! (god knows how many people returned it before me--it was a warehouse deal--brand new opened box.)I promise you, the value of this chair is NO MORE THAN twenty bucks. I have padded folding chairs (card table type) that are made and look better than this!UPDATE: I still don't like the chair but a guest that used the chair over the weekend of April 20th, 2012 said it was comfortable. I still wouldn't buy another unless it was $20.00 bucks.Cheap chairs, but then again I didn't pay much for 4 chairs. I don't expect them to hold up in a busy office. You can't complain about these too much considering the price. Every single chair we assembled is uneven - the chair teeters back and forth. When the weight of a person is in the chair, it flexes and and causes all four legs to securely touch the floor. I've only had them for about three months, so far they have held up fine.Bought 2 For my Mancave, Outstanding Quality & Value, All you need to put together is a Phillips Screwdriver.By using a Screwdriver, it’s Tight, But as A Added Safety. I tightened with a Ratchet, with a Screwdriver attachment,To make Sure more Secure. An A+++++++++++++
