This chair is rather easy to assemble if you're using a drill with the correct size allen bit. The holes for the bolts are just barely within range of each other. You're absolutely going to want to start each bolt just a little before tightening any of them. That, of course, should be a standard practice with anything that requires assembly. One set of bolts in my case did require a second pair of hands though. I needed someone to squeeze the sides of the chair together so I could get the 4th bolt started on that set. I assemble LOTS of office chairs and can say that this is not usually an issue. That said, it's a ridiculously minor issue. Just beware you might need a 2nd set of hands.Assembly only took about 20 minutes. The chair is sized right and feels very comfortable to sit in. It also breathes well. It also feels sturdy and I expect it will last.As far as functionality goes, it's 99% functional as intended. Everything that is supposed to adjust adjusts the way it should. The 1% I'm somewhat complaining about is the rollers on the bottom. The chair rolls well enough, but the wheels aren't quite lined up the way they should be. If you were to try to roll it in a straight line on a flat floor, there would probably be a little wobble due to the wheels mostly, but not completely rolling well together. Again, this is also really minor. I've had one other chair that had a problem like that and it did not roll well at all and caused drag on the other wheels when moving. This chair's issue is so minor it causes no drag at all. If the chair is used in one spot and never moved away from it, rolling around in a small work area will be just fine. User will probably never notice. All that said, it is still functional, large enough, comfortable enough, and adjustable enough that I still highly recommend it; especially at the price they're selling it for.
